As an OB/GYN nurse, Certified Lactation
Expert and with a degree in Child Development, Marsha
has over 20 years experience working with parents and
young children.
Marsha is a Certified Lactation Educator
as well as a home care nurse with Sutter Visiting Nurse
Association (Marin and San Francisco). Marsha has been
a volunteer for the American Red Cross since 1993.
She has led mother’s groups and
taught parenting classes at the Center for Creative Parenting
in Larkspur and Novato, California. She has authored many
articles for "Parenting Passages" as well as
other journals. She has been written about in the "Wall
Street Journal," "Variety," and other publications
across the United States.
Marsha has lectured on child development
issues both nationally and internationally.
She has presented to mother’s groups all over the
San Francisco Bay Area.
Recently she lectured health professionals in Bucharest
and Sibu, Romania and volunteered at hospitals for abandoned
children there.
Marsha Podd truly is one of the gifted
